Step-by-Step Guide for Your Permanent Bracelets:
Step 1: Unpacking the Kit
Start by removing the bracelets, wire cutter, and pliers from the kit.
Step 2: Adjusting the Bracelet Length
Measure the bracelet against your wrist to find your preferred length. You can adjust it to be longer or shorter, but avoid making it too tight for comfort.
Step 3: Cutting the Bracelet
Use the wire cutter from the kit to trim the bracelet to your desired length. Instead of cutting across the entire chain link, just cut one side. Trim small amounts at a time to avoid cutting too much, as you can’t add length back once it’s cut.
Tip: Position the wire further back in the cutter, near the hinge, rather than at the tip of the blades. This gives you more leverage and makes it easier to cut through the chain links.
Step 4: Checking the Length
Attach the chain link to the clasp and test the bracelet on your wrist to ensure it fits comfortably without restricting movement. We recommend testing the fit after each cut to see if further trimming is needed.
Step 5: Securing the Clasp
Once you’re satisfied with the length, use the pliers from the kit to secure the clasp. Insert the clasp wire into the locking hole and make sure the wire is fully pushed in.
Step 6: Locking the Clasp
Use the pliers to press the clasp flap down securely. This specialized clasp won’t open once it’s locked.
Step 7: Helping Each Other
It’s easier to take turns helping each other with the process, as it can be tricky to do alone and may lead to mistakes.
Step 8: Celebrate Your Creation!
Congratulations! You and your loved one are now bonded with your own custom, permanent bracelets. Enjoy this shared accomplishment and admire the beautiful piece you've created together.
