No. Our pieces are stainless steel or sterling silver with a gold, rose gold or silver finish, and that finish softens with wear, contact and cleaning. This is normal for all plated jewellery and is not a manufacturing fault. Keeping it away from water, perfume and cleaning products makes it last much longer.
